A Sweet Marriage Proposal at Sassafras Springs Vineyard in Springdale, AR

Chris reached out to me via my proposal page about two months before he was going to propose to his then-girlfriend (now fiancé,) Erica! They had lived in Northwest Arkansas for about 2 years and had moved down from Michigan. Sassafras Springs Vineyard was the only spot Chris could think of proposing since it was their favorite place in the area.

How it was planned

We came up with a plan during our first meeting and then polished it in the week of the proposal. Chris wanted it to be completely candid, so I scoped out the location two days before and arrived 15 minutes early on the day of to set up and wait for them to arrive. I parked in the new parking lot while Chris and Erica parked in the older one and after he texted me we both walked towards the wooden bridge he was going to propose on. Our timing was perfect, I got there just ahead of them without being seen and capture the proposal!

After Erica said yes (about 12 times) they opened up a bottle, had some wine, and we did a quick engagement shoot to celebrate!
