Hartford, CT Event Photographer – 2024

Hey there! I am Kari Bjorn and I’m a Hartford, CT event photographer. I specialize in capturing fun-loving, creative, and professional photography for corporate events, private parties, and all the special occasions throughout Hartford and beyond. I have been shooting events since my first assignment in 2012, a dance party for UN Women. My style is photojournalistic and unobtrusive. I feel that letting your gathering flow naturally and not interfering with conversations is the way to create images that truly show the atmosphere and ambiance of your event. That being said, I’ll still walk up to people on occasion and snap a quick portrait!

In addition to all the lovely weddings, and other happy gatherings in Connecticut. I worked with Vanity Fair as an on-site editor and retoucher during the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in 2019 and 2020. I shot and edited videos for InStyle on numerous editorial shoots. I photographed the Barbershop Conference at the United Nations in 2017 for UN Women. I covered a lot of events and fundraising galas for the French-American Foundation and realty company KRANTZ + KRANTZ. In 2018, Inspired by Iceland commissioned me to photograph the Icelandic national soccer team as they prepared for the Fifa World Cup.
