1-Year Anniversary Photo Sessions

For the past decade or so, anniversary photo sessions have become more and more popular here in Connecticut. A lot can happen in a year that’s worth celebrating and documenting.

So what is an anniversary session?

It’s super similar to an engagement session, but not entirely the same. Anniversary sessions are often a little bit more intimate than the classic engagement sessions. I often times do them at home, as it is usually the 2nd, 3rd or even 4th time I am working with a couple and everybody is more comfortable then when we first met. But they can also be used for other purposes. Maybe you bought a house, maybe there’s a baby on the way, or maybe you got a pet.

How much are they?

I offer these hour-long sessions starting at $500 year-round with a 20% discount for existing clients when booked during the wedding process (before the wedding day) — In order to book, a $100 deposit is required along with an e-signed agreement

Where and when should we have our session?

In-home tends to be pretty popular with my clients as these pictures are less for invites and save-the-dates and more for the family album and the nightstand. In reality, we can do them pretty much anywhere. If we decide on an at-home session, the season doesn’t matter. I’ll work with you on a loose mood board to figure out what you want and we can go from there. For outdoor sessions, fall and spring are usually the best seasons — as they’re neither too hot or cold around here in Connecticut.
