Reviews
If Kari is available on your wedding day, hire him!! I was fortunate enough to have him capture our beautiful wedding in July 2021. He is the most patient, receptive and affirming photographer I’ve ever met. His communication prior and following our event was superb! He knows how to frame people so that everyone looks their best and gives great directions. He asks for your input prior to the event so that he can get a glimpse of what you’re anticipating your vision to be on your wedding day. He is extremely skilled at his craft. You won’t be disappointed in your decision to hire Kari!

Where do I begin!? We hired Kari almost a year ago and he has been incredible throughout our engagement and most recently, photographing our wedding day. He answered all our questions immediately and I knew when we first met him that we clicked and that we had found our wedding photographer. Not only am I in LOVE with our photos that I can’t wait to frame but he also captured our engagement pictures with so much kindness, we framed and displayed them at our reception! He is not only an amazing photographer but a truly kind person as well.

Let’s discuss hours
Full-day coverage generally starts at 8 hours. Here are some general guidelines as far as hours go. But each wedding is of course unique.
A 10-hour wedding photography package allows for all the pre-wedding activities and candid prep photos, intimate family moments, and giving of gifts. First look and day-of bridal portrait sessions along with plenty of time for group shots and wedding portraits in the afternoon. Full coverage of the ceremony, reception, and all the in-between and after-hours moments. Ending on your grand exit!
8 hours usually covers 3/4 to a full wedding day. It can be a full day for weddings in one location, but closer to a 3/4 day when you have 2 or more locations and/or multiple events throughout the day. From the getting ready shots to the reception dance floor along with a grand exit if everything is in the same location. Multiple location changes can take a bit of time.
6 hours of coverage is generally half to 3/4 day. This is ideal for shorter days and smaller gatherings. For example, 6 hours is perfect for brunch weddings that have a ceremony around 11 am and end with wedding portraits at 2 pm. A 3/4 day package is also nice if you want reception coverage until the end but have no need for getting ready shots or vice versa.
Shorter packages are most often reserved for intimate gatherings and elopements only.
