120 Engagement Photo Locations in NYC

What is an engagement photo session?

Many wedding photographers, myself included, offer engagement sessions both as standalone items in addition to including them in our wedding packages. An engagement session doesn’t have to be cheesy or awkward, in fact, it’s a really great way to get to know your photographer—so that you’re not complete strangers on your wedding day.

A lot of couples choose also to have an engagement session for their save-the-date cards or to use the images for their wedding website. I personally love when couples choose locations that are meaningful to their relationship. Their first date café or restaurant, for example—or just inside their newly purchased apartment.

Here are 120 locations in all of New York City for your engagement photos!

Hey!

I am Kari Bjorn and I am a wedding photographer in Connecticut but I shoot in NYC all the time. Mostly weddings, engagement photos, surprise proposals, and other happy gatherings. I am originally from Iceland and have been shooting since 2010 — as a professional photographer here in the US since 2014. I am looking forward to hearing from you!
