Weddings at Stone Chapel at MattLane Farm, Fayetteville, AR
If you need space for your wedding, Stone Chapel at MattLane Farm has it. The chapel itself can seat up to 250 people. They have an outdoor ceremony area with equal capacity, paired with a beautiful outdoor space for cocktail hour. Then, a large reception hall with a warm and luxurious vibe. Finally, an on-site, bridal suite and groom’s room. The bridal suite is the biggest one in Northwest Arkansas, period. If there are many in your bride tribe, this is your spot!

More wedding amenities
All full-day rentals come with the use of the entire property. It also includes time at the chapel for engagement or bridal portraits prior to your wedding day. It is $200 to book the venue for those portrait sessions only. Ceremony and reception chairs, along with tables are also included in your rental.
Bridal suite and groom’s room
Stone Chapel at MattLane Farm arguably, has the largest bridal suite in Northwest Arkansas. I would say easily fit a large bridal party of about 8 to 10 people and vendors. It is classically decorated and has a super high ceiling. The groom’s room is a bit smaller and mostly functions as a changing room, and not a full dressing room. Photography in the bridal suite is a dream, but a bit more difficult in the Groom’s room as it is a lot darker in there. If you are planning to do a lot of getting ready photos, the groom should maybe get ready in another location.
The best season for a wedding
The Stone Chapel is an all-season wedding venue. The darker and warm tones of the chapel and the reception hall certainly fit better in fall and winter in my opinion though. However, you could totally have an outdoor ceremony for 250 people and put tents in that same area and it would be beautiful in spring and summer.
Accommodation near the chapel
There is nothing really too close to the chapel apart from short-term rentals in East Fayetteville. Here are a few highly-rated hotels near downtown Fayetteville.

My personal opinions
This is a wedding venue that can truly host a large gathering. All three main spaces — the chapel, the outdoor ceremony area, and the reception hall easily fit 225 to 250 guests. The ideal size is probably around 175 so that it feels nice but not too crowded. You could even do a bit less than that if you divide the reception space up which is possible. There are a lot of different earthy colors and dark and warm tones, so you might feel a little limited as far as what colors you can choose for your wedding. I recently shot a wedding there with emerald and gold as its primary colors, and I think it looked amazing. Pastels and bright colors might be a better fit at another venue.
Wedding photography at Stone Chapel
As I mentioned, previously, the bridal suite is an absolute dream to take pictures in. The chapel is pretty dark, as is common with most chapels. You should check in with your photographer to make sure that they can handle low-light situations. I like the outdoor ceremony space a bit better, the design is really cool so you can get pictures from behind the couple with guests in the background of the photo. That’s a shot not many venues can offer a photographer. The reception hall is pretty dark, it has windows on both sides, but they are not large. Your photographer should ideally be capable of lighting up large reception halls if you book this venue.
